I'm Tony Arslan

I am a Software Engineer with over 20 years of professional experience, having worked across the financial, pharmaceutical, and publishing industries. Throughout my career, I’ve held roles as a back-end, front-end, and full-stack developer, with a strong focus on building custom solutions for web applications, mobile apps, and desktop software.
From 2018 to 2025, I also served as a lecturer at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where I taught courses in Web Programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), Mobile App Development for Android, and Data Analysis. Prior to that, I taught Database Programming, .NET Programming, and JavaScript Programming at Kaplan University (now Purdue Global University).
My teaching experience allowed me to mentor aspiring developers while reinforcing my own commitment to lifelong learning.

Teaching & Learning

Between 2018 and 2025, I taught multiple computer science courses at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, including: CSCE 120 - Learning to Code (Web Programming), CSCE 220 - Software Development for Smart-Mobile Systems and CSCE 320 - Data Analysis.

Although I no longer actively teach, I remain passionate about sharing knowledge and supporting others in their learning journey.
